week one: getting re-introduced to the place i come from. so far, i can say that i’ve never experienced or seen anything like the things i’ve seen here in the past few days.  at moments i find myself heartbroken and filled with anxiety, reflecting on the lifestyle here.  i know for sure that this next month is gonna be the most eye-opening experience i’ve ever experienced in my life thus far.  i’m overwhelmed with a mix of emotions that i can’t quite sort out yet… seeing the Philippines through different eyes and knowing that i’m so far away from home for a month.  it’s pretty nuts and too much to explain right now… and that’s all i can really say at the moment..  that, and…
