On working full-time…..

I do believe that people grow most in challenging situations.

Personally, my life has taken a big turn in the past few months making it quite difficult to maintain my momentum in dance. This period of my life is strange. I’ve never been so happy, yet scared to lose something at the same time… like having everything you need to survive but feeling so sad that something else is slipping away.

After living a struggling dancer’s life for years, to finally be worry-free about gas, rent, phone, food, or debt is such a peaceful feeling. But this feeling is all at the expense of something very important to me… something I’ve built my dreams around for so long… I’m learning how to move forward with this.

I do understand that all of this is to show me my true priorities.. what truly matters… what I’m willing to sweat and sacrifice for.. what I’m willing to work hard for.. and what I feel my purpose is.
