I love me some Usher.  When I heard this song, it sounded pretty epic.  I wanted to dance and I haven’t stopped listening to it since.  I admit, I have a lot of physical limitations and wish I could train a lot harder to push my body to reach different lengths… I still try.  I still would want to stretch more, extend more, have a lot more variety and different technique ranging from jazz to contemporary to real hip hop and funk styles.  Overall I just don’t want to be stuck in a box… or look like I’m stuck dancing in a box.  It’s a slow climb… slowly gettin there….

Had the opportunity to visit Virginia and teach with Joesar a couple weekends ago!  Thanks to VA for your amazing energy and to Aurelia and Jared for this routine!!!  It was such a fun weekend and it was my pleasure to share with all of you :)

First new routine after coming back from the Philippines!

**I told Xernan and David that I would do a video for them.. which I have not yet… and I owe ‘em, so.. be on the lookout.  I promise I’ll do it :)  Sorry, and I love you guys, but I need more time haha!**

Woke up at 8am, drove to Starbucks for my daily coffee, heard this song on the radio, came back home to choreograph, then taught this routine 4 hours later at Debbie’s.  I was pretty delirious and had been dancing for hours straight prior to teaching… but it felt good to be back in mah studio!
